• What is "Veni Vidi Peccavi"?

2018 in Eden: A Christian country full of humans, angels and demons. Oppressive politics increase and a long-lasting hierarchy between the species is stronger than ever. While angels are idolized and adored, demons are discriminated, hunted and exterminated by the faithful folk of Eden. The only place safe from discrimination and death: EBS, the first school to ever educate demons. Full of these satanic children that experience directly what it's like growing up in a marginalized group.

"Veni Vidi Peccavi" is a original, ongoing comic-series, on which I've been working since 2020. A Coming-of-Age Story that is set in Eden, a Christian country with very conservative und oppressive politics, and tells three connected Storylines of people who try to fight oppression in different ways. It mainly focus on a group of demon-children, that experience what it's like to grow up as part of a marginalized group. VVP is a fictive story that analyzes the effects of isms (racism, sexism, homophobia and more) on people of every social classes and comments on todays moral debates. If you like shows like The Owl House or Fullmetal Alchemist, are interested in books with a ton of queer rep or just want to read silly, bloody comic with a ton of bad jokes, VVP could be just the right thing for you!
